Status of shelter...Good overall. We had a Parvo outbreak and were quarantined for 2 wks. Several rescue runs to Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.
Schwann's May 30 & Aug. 1 in Marceline. June 26 & July 18 in Brookfield.
Garage Sale in Marceline, June 12, 13. Will be held at Masonic Temple.

SHELTER REPORT: Status of shelter...20 dogs sent to rescue. BHS Coquettes are going to start walking & bathing dogs on Fridays.
OLD BUSINESS: Schwann's at Brookfield June 26 - 10 to 5; Brookfield July 18 8:30 - 2:00; Marceline Aug. 1 - 8:30 to 2:00.

MINUTES: Minutes of August meeting presented, corrected, approved.
TREASURERS REPORT: All bills paid except vets.
SPAY/NEUTER REPORT:Spaying and Neutering suspended until further notice due to financial considerations
SHELTER REPORT: Dogs: Total Intake: 75 Total Out: 74. Cats: Total Intake: 34 Total Out: 16. 38 dogs sent to rescue. Adoptions are down. We have a problem with a respiratory infection. We are taking steps to combat. it.
OLD BUSINESS: Sears has donated a shed. We will assemble it after we pour a concrete pad to hold it. It will be sealed against the weather.
NEW BUSINES: Coquettes and dogs looked good in the Sesquecentennial Parade. Rummage Sale Sept. 24, 25, 26.

SHELTER REPORT: Dogs In: — 77 Dogs Out: — 71 Cats In: — 17 Cats Out: — 19.

NEW BUSINES: Discussion of spay/neuter clinic. Moved and seconded to thank the Vet in Trenton, MO, but declining to implement the clinic. Will find people to participate in BHS Homecoming Parade leading several dogs available for adoption. Need donations of: blankets, collars and leashes, cleaning supplies, Pine-Sol, dish soap, laundry soap.
Discussion of Pet Food Pantry. Will be open 1st Sunday of Month from 1-3 pm.
